SAMSUNG PAY Reactions :)

Samsung Pay uses not only Near-field communication (NFC) but also Magnetic secure transmission (MST) which basically means that it can send a "swipe" signal that virtually any traditional card swipe readers can read.

A couple things to mention though is that Samsung Pay may struggle a bit on mobile card readers but just keep your hands steady and it should go through in a few more seconds.

Also, the app froze on me a couple of times so all I did was restart my phone and everything went back to normal. If that happens to you, you might just want to give them the physical card or just pay cash.

This was during the International Pathfinder Camporee in Oshkosh where mobile network was super slow (at least on mine). So that might be one of the reasons it freezes every few transactions (not exactly sure). But it does work offline. :)

The best thing is that you don't need to toggle NFC or anything else every time you use the app. Samsung Pay does everything for you. Not to mention the cashback & points you get just by using the app. ;)
